the Cat: pt1

sleepy, oh so sleepy,... but here is a quick CAT to start a new Finish for this older piece.

enjoy

the Trap:

well, week 26. this is another quick 3hr-ish stop-mo test. just mucking around with a cobbled together rig. it's all basically straight-ahead animation with FrameThief and a USB Web camera. not fancy, but it's a nice change from drawing.

Sneek : Old School

week 25, KEEP IT SIMPLE! well, i took it back to the old world, a single light, a USB camera, an armature, an about 3hr.
it's all about dusting of the old muscles and doing something SIMPLE. this turned out to be a good test for this armature, as i moved it around i found several articulation points that it was missing,(mainly in the shoulders and hips) i could add more joints or just live with it.... live with t i think

I'm Bored : the FINAL

week 24: well, here it is,.. finally, a "simple" idea gone wrong. i foolishly thought animating some TYPE would be easier than drawing every frame, and i'd get to use a new feature i hadn't tried in FLASH..... i could have done this much simpler but "planning" is not always something i take the time to do on these 1 WEEK ideas, it's more "think it, sleep on it, DO IT" and that's no way to animate.

well here it is,.. now i must sleep

I'm Bored : wk.2

week 23, and i'm posting just a partial piece again, ... this one is getting away from me. seemed like a fun "little" exercise to try TYPE and SOUND but it's taing on a life of it's own and honestly i just want it to be over. but in the spirit of trying to "care" (love) each little piece i will give this idea 1 more week before i just call it DONE... enjoy

I'm Bored

week 22, it's just a start. it hasn't really gone anywhere yet. .. but next week! or maybe not, the EYES are Bigger than the Stomach.... or something like that..

Patience: or another way out

WEEK 21 ! ok .. well, this was a lazy attempt, couldn't find the right sounds, didn't have the time or "patience" to add any sophistication, ... sort of reflects this weeks emotional state actually. week 21 out of 52 and it's getting harder or at least it feels like it, a curse if you will, but PATIENTS will see you thru...... right?

Tucker's Lost Things

week 20 animation- these are drawings Tucker did in 1st grade. She was doing her "small moments" writing exercises and drawing a little moment from her week that she could remember , she drew these and then wrote out, "When i was looking for my Muchch" (Mun-Chi-Chi doll).

what a cutie...
